The words of a colleague now ring true: the greater miracle may be that the family will still have faith if he does die.
The teachers (and Travis) have gathered for a fellowship night, one in which they can pray, sing, share in suffering together, and meet the practical ways of caring for their fellow teacher by preparing for Jason's burial.
Please pray for that greater miracle; that in the midst of deep sadness we can all have faith in a Sovereign and Loving Father that now holds a young Babwisi boy in His arms.
praying, praying, praying....just about to sit down to dinner, they will be first in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteShowing His lovingkindness to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.... precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Our covenant Father has welcomed home His covenant child. Praying for you and for Jason's parents.

ReplyDeleteI am so sad for Jason's family and pray with an empathetic heart for the unexplained, untimely, heavy burden of a child gone Home well before what seems like the right time. I pray that in their sorrow, Jason's parents can cling to the promised hope of an assured future with Jason. The road from here to there will be difficult and long, and I ask God to provide daily mercies to meet the challenges of the day. God surely wil care for Jason with a Father's love that is full and complete and all encompassing for Jason.
With much love from another bereaved parent's heart-

Praying. And crying.

ReplyDeleteIs this the little boy with the energy of 3 boys? Oh no! He was full of life and mischief, always busy and into something. I am grieving for these friends! Please pass on my deepest sympathies!
